Student Representatives

The ISTP student representatives advocate the interests of all ISTP students during the biannual meetings of the Institute Conference and the Teaching Commission. Beside this, they are responsible for carefully addressing and acting on any questions, wishes, or troubles that might arise in the realm of studying at the ISTP and ETH Zürich.

Who we are

The current representatives want to create an inclusive, diverse and vibrant community around the ISTP, make sure students’ concerns are heard and foster our disciplinary interaction. We aim to further improve the study experience and believe in the power of good food in bringing people together.  

Brief Description of Projects

Their biggest achievements are, firstly, the shared realization of the external pageR Crashcoursecall_made to help first-year ETH master students get up to speed with the basics of data analysis and visualization in R. Secondly, they have provided large support for a restructuring of the available minor courses (Minor course reform). Specifically to ensure equal opportunities across minors and to align these better with the natural science and engineering background of the students.
