The EU circular economy plan in light of broader European Green deal objectives
Designing, developing and scaling up a true circular economy that makes the best use of all resources in our societal systems is a key element in addressing the systemic challenges currently facing our environment, including climate change, biodiversity loss, resource scarcity and social inequality. The European Green Deal aims to take an integrated policy approach to these challenges, and Dr Bruyninckx will examine the circular economy, both as a concept, and also in concrete terms within the context of European policy development and our commitments towards 2030 and beyond.
