Postdoctoral research position – environmental and social footprints of metals and mining
We offer an intellectually challenging full-time postdoctoral research position in environmental and social footprints of metals and mining to strengthen our Swiss Minerals Observatory interdisciplinary research team.

The position is initially for one year starting in summer 2017, and can be extended for up to four years. The new postdoc will contribute to a collaborative research project that focuses on environmental and social footprints of metals and mining as well as the teaching activity of the Institute.
You should hold a doctoral degree (PhD) in political science, economics/political economy, sociology, or social-psychology. Applicants are expected to have strong quantitative methodological skills, a keen and manifest interest in environmental and resource policy, and a strong command of English.
