Navigating the World of Post-Truth Politics
In a talk hosted by Democrats Abroad, Dr. Alexandra Cirone will speak about how to navigate a world of post-truth politics at our Institute on Wednesday, 21st March 2018 at 6:30 pm.
About the event
What are we to do in a political environment where objective facts are ignored in favor of appeals to emotional or personal beliefs? Where fear trumps fact? Who can we trust in a world where partisanship has become so strong that facts are sacrificed to political expediency and the media has sacrificed truth in favor of balance?
Place: Institute of Science, Technology, and Policy
Time: Wednesday, 21st March 2018 at 6:30 - 8:30 pm
