Participation in Order of Architects' conference in Milano

With a rich program of initiatives with an international flavor, the Order of Architects of the Province of Milano promote the theme of cooperation in architecture during the months of May and June. The cooperative model of housing is in fact a valid opportunity both for the realization and the re-development of the cities and for the organization of the professional studies and societies of architecture and urban planning.

Our senior researcher Dr. Jennifer Duyne Barenstein was invited by the Order of Architects of the Province of Milano to give a lecture on “The role of housing cooperatives in the provision of sustainable and affordable housing” in the framework of a conference held in Milano on “Il progetto cooperativo nella città e nella professione” (The cooperative project in the city and the profession). The conference was attended by local authorities and policy makers, academics and over 100 practicing architects.
