The Sustainable Development Goals in Context – Announcement of Public Lecture Series

What are the major challenges and chances related to sustainability? How does ETH Zurich contribute to sustainable development? Join the public lecture series, which takes place in Spring Semester 2020, and gain insights from cutting-edge science and leading societal actors. The United Nations Agenda 2030 and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide an opportunity for the international community to shape the course of sustainable development. With their range of expertise, universities can develop the science to help achieving the SDGs.

The lecture series is organized by D-​USYS in cooperation with ETH Sustainability and ETH4D. All lectures are open to the public and are held in English. Several members of the ISTP community, including Prof. Dr. Thomas Bernauer, Prof. Isabel Günther & Prof. Bernhard Wehrli, will give lectures in the context of this lecture series.

Students at ETH Zurich may enroll in the lecture series to gain 2 ECTS. For more information, please refer to the ETH Zurich Course Catalogue.
