ISTP4Public NEW Video: What drives public support for policies to enhance electric vehicle adoption?
The second video of our video statement series "ISTP4Public" is out and it provides fresh insights into the public support and the political feasibility of policy options for promoting EV adoption. ISTP PhD student Gracia Brückmann shares the key findings of her and Prof. Thomas Bernauer’s recently published study in Environmental Research Letters.
We are pleased to present the second video of our "ISTP4Public" video statement series shedding light on ISTP-related research activities.
In this video, we focused on an insightful publication by ISTP PhD student Gracia Brückmann and Prof. Thomas Bernauer on EV adoption. Based on a choice experiment, they found that pull measures, such as subsidies for electric cars, attract more public support even when policy funding is revealed. This suggests that more ambitious pull measures in this area are politically feasible.
We would like to warmly thank Gracia Brückmann, the first author of the publication, for her valuable contribution to the second video of our series!
