MSc STP graduate launches climate migration documentary "Eroding Horizons"

Congratulations to Dr Jan Freihardt on the recent launch of the documentary “Eroding Horizons. A Village on the Move." The movie traces the story behind his research project on climate migration in Bangladesh, led by ETH Zürich and funded by external page Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). His research is focused on climate-induced migration, which is when the consequences of climate change displace people.
He also had the privelege of screening the documentary at this years COP29 at the pavilion of the external page International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD), to show to delgations that climate migration is not a far future scenario and it is happening today.
