Guest lecture from CERN's Dr. Maurizio Bona in conjunction with the Law & Tech course

The Center for Law & Economics at ETH Zurich will have the pleasure of hosting CERN's Dr. Maurizio Bona on Tuesday October 1. Dr. Bona is the senior advisor for relations with parliaments and science for policy at CERN. He will give a talk in IFW A.32.1 from 10 am to 12 pm on Tuesday, October 1, in conjunction with the Law & Tech course, which is offered through the Science in Perspective programme.

Dr. Bona is the senior advisor for relations with parliaments and science for policy at CERN. Dr. Bona's talk will focus on his experiences working in science diplomacy at CERN, with a particular emphasis on his experiences before and during CERN's accession to observer status at the United Nations. He will also speak about grass roots efforts he is involved in both in legal education and in scientific institutes to promote science diplomacy and among diplomats.

The Center for Law & Economics will also host Dr. Bona for an ad hoc talk at the CLE on Tuesday afternoon. The talk will focus on considerations related to technology transfer at CERN. Please, contact Aileen Nielsen directly for further information and directions.
