Launch of the Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich
ISTP PhD student Yael Borofsky, along with PhDs and Post-Docs from 7 other groups at ETH Zurich and the Energy Science Center, have launched the Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich, a new platform for discussions on energy policy, science, technology, and business.
The Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich is an initiative to bring closer to students, researchers, professors, energy professionals and the general public the important energy-related research carried out at ETH Zurich and to spark fact-based debates about some of the most pressing energy challenges of our time. Along with the ISTP co-founder, Evan Petkov (SusTec), Alejandro Jimenez-Nuñez (SusTec), and Florian Egli (Energy Politics Group) helped shape the project that is hosted by the ETH Zurich Energy Science Center.
The Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich is run by a team of dedicated people from ETH Zurich – a collective editorial group comprising enthusiastic doctoral and post-doctoral researchers. It is, therefore, a bottom-up initiative from the research community to serve society.
Multi-disciplinary ETH Zurich energy researchers will post non-technical content every two weeks, with the mission of sharing knowledge and sparking discussion around energy topics. The Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich will feature two types of posts: research highlights, and the op-eds.
The blog’s very first post is live. In addition to explaining the motivation for the Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich, the first post describes how you can participate by writing an article or becoming an editor. The blog’s team looks forward to your feedback, article ideas, and a good conversation. Please, reach out to any of the editorial team members if you would like to participate.
You can subscribe to the Energy Blog @ ETH Zurich content on the blog’s homepage in order to be notified of new posts and follow the new blog on external page Twitter.
